Bowks
Hello all, Bowks the newbie from the Intermusic forums here. Hope you're all well and that some of you can help me make a choice for a new bridge. I'll soon be assembling a Strat style guitar and I'm not sure which bridge to go for. I know that Wilkinson have a good reputation for high quality hardware and so far I've narrowed my choices down to either of the following. In the red corner, the Wilkinson/Gotoh VSVG: http://www.stewmac.com/catalog/images_1lg/3534_1lg.jpg In the blue corner, this Wilkinson vintage steel block 5+1 bridge: http://www.wdmusicproducts.com/B2B-2/IMAGES/WV6SBCR.JPG Have any of you used one or other of these trems? I'd like to know what I can expect from either unit and if one has the edge over the other. Also, are there any good quality trem units you think I should be looking at? Thanks in advance. GO AND READ THE RULES, SPECIFICALLY THIS POST. http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.php?showtopic=11235 Edited August 1, 2005 by rhoads56

Just going on the brand, you can't go wrong. I've heard good things about the Wilkinson bridges.
