knighty76 Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Hi everyone! A quickie.. I've got sitting here ready to go into my homemade Tele a Fender Custom Texas Special Neck PUP (for Telecaster). Here's the dumb bit.. what are the wires for? Specifically, the white one? I understand that usually Yellow is hot, Black is ground. So what's white? Warm? Is this badlad tapped? Cheers fellas (and ladies if there are any knocking about in here..)! For info I'm wiring this baby up to a 4-way switch for parallel/series selection with my SD Broadcaster Bridge PUP. Thanks again, Rich. Quote
unclej Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 go to the tutorial page and look in wiring diagrams. at the top you'll find the color codes for different pups. Quote
lovekraft Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 Well, in this case, white is hot, and yellow and black both go to ground - but only on the neck pickup. Isn't Fender a hoot? http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdf...0138602APg2.pdf Quote
