22 Fret Neck For 24 Fret Body?

Hello everyone, i am new to this forum so i apologise for any mistakes i make. Does anybody know if a 22 fret strat neck would work on a body previously accomodating a 24 fret neck, both necks are 25 1/2 scale. Will there be a problem with intonation?

Don't double post a thread.

It will only work if, when you set the neck into the pocket, it still reads 25.5 inches. If not, which It probably wont - unless this 24 fret neck has the same heel of a 22 fret neck, with extra fretboard overhang for the extra frets - You will need to make the neck pocket longer to correct the scale.
