loquito5765
Alrite, I was thinking about making a design on my guitar that im currently painting. What im doing is, I just primed it, Ill paint the spot where i want the design to be black, then print out the design on sticker paper, stick it to the black, then paint over all of this in green. Now, what im thinking is, will this create small bumps where the green and black meet, or would some of the green peel? Just trying to get all the info i can so i dont ruin it. MzI
As long as the paint goes on smooth you should be ok. Just spray some clear over the top of it and level the clear and youll be good to go. MzI
Pr3Va1L
yup, as long as you spray enough clear so it's over the bumps, it should be alright... Edited August 21, 2005 by Pr3Va1L
loquito5765
salrite already managed to ruin it, it was sticking to the newspaper, so i lifted it up and it fell on its wet side, making a area around 4 inches in diameter to have tiny little bumps from the asphalt, and mixing the wet primer with dirt. wetsanding tomarrow it looks like
