Ledzendrix1128 Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 I just got my warmoth strat body today. I stained the top blue with a black sand back method. There is a clean line seperating the quilt maple top with the back of the mahogany body. I ordered some black grain filler for the mahogany, but the mahogany is pretty light in color. Since the guitar is a dark blue finish i need to darken it up a bit. What would you guys recomend doing on this, ill put up some pictures soon. Thanks in advance. - Louis Quote
javacody Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Well, there are mahogany stains out there, that really add a nice darkish red look. You might try one of those. Quote
