Southpa Posted September 29, 2005 Report Share Posted September 29, 2005 Try a long wood screw of the right diameter. Screw in by hand and gently rock them out. That was a concern of mine when I built my tele. I didn't want to risk damaging the finish, so one of the very last things I did was install the ferrules. Maiden69 Posted September 29, 2005 Report Share Posted September 29, 2005 how about just using a drill bit the size of the hole and push from the front. I know the screw thing will work but it will mark the ferrule a bit. If you are refinishing and taking the bridge out, just push a bit or anything small enopugh but bigger than the string hole on the ferrule and push them out.
