dani143
Right, i've been struggling with my latest idea for this guitar i'm planning to build...I want to build a simple FET booster circuit into it...now i can't be the first person to have thought of this, and was just wondering if it's possible to have a push/pull as its gain pot and use that as a switch for it, or whether i'd need to have a separate switch...or even if it's possible at all i guess Thanks James
lovekraft
Yes, it's fairly easy - if EMG can do it, you can too! Do a search for Don Tillman's FET preamp or the Stratoblaster to find circuit ideas, and use a DPDT push/pull pot for bypass.
