Maiden69 Posted November 17, 2005 Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 If you are using spray can paint it is not that important because it will take an enourmous amount of paint to build ut that much... If you are using 2 part poly, then it is a must, but you can alway sand the paint off the heel of the neck pretty easy to make it fit nice.
