Lord-of-the-strings
Today I saw a classical in decent condition for only 50$ in the local pawn shop. The problem is it has a slight neck bow, the action is great by the nut but towards the middle of the neck it's at least 1.5 cm's off of the board. Any way to fix this? I don't want to miss a deal like that.
Calum_Barrow
Seems like a pro job to get that fixed. It'll probably need a neck reset and shizzle, and the neck reset will cost loads.
Marzocchi705
Have you checked if it has a truss rod, look inside the sound hole, most acoustics adjust at the heel.
Mattia
A classical? With a truss rod? Unlikely. If the neck's bent, it won't need a reset, but it will need neck straightening, and that's not gonna be cheap either.

Lord-of-the-strings
I think the thing might not actually have a neck bow, but be suffering from pot belly (is that what it's called?)

Just a 'belly', really. A certain amout is normal, and as long as it's not dipping in front of the bridge it should be fine. If it is, I wouldn't bother with it unless it's a really really nice instrument to begin with.
