5150-abrichardson Posted November 29, 2005 Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 I've taken one of my old axes down to the sealer. I still have some sealer and some bare wood. What's the best-bet grit to get the sealer off without taking too much wood with it? I read here that someone suggested 320 (I think). I've actually tried to take wood sealer and simply cover up the mess but I think I've made things worse. LOL Do most people take it down to bare wood?
