5150-abrichardson
A while back, I stumbled across some sites that showed how to paint Eddie van Halen's famous axe, the Frankenstrat. I can't find those now. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and may be have some links?
Duff Beer Man
its not hard to do actually prolly one of the easier paint jobs cause everyone is different and random with the striping. All u do is lay down ur base coat, then black, then tape off the stripes, then white, then put more stripes over the other ones, then say red. Then clear and thats it. Nitefly SA
a couple people here have painted EVH's and documented the proces search for "van halen" (in in progress or finished work or you'll be searching for weeks)
5150-abrichardson
I'll certainly do a search The sites I remember seeing actually had 'scientific' ways of doing it. These weren't just other Frankenstrat jobs but a way of life. The replicas were unbelievable! I hope to find them again soon
marksound
Guitar Attack made a VH1 out of a Saga kit. It's worth a look.
