Tarquinius
My favorite guitar is starting to develop some sort of dirt nastyness in the frets. I can scrap it off with my pick, but not very well or recommended. Is there any product I can use on this? I also heard that lemon or any citric juice on it will do the trick? Comments? Thank you. thegarehanman
I use a nail brush(rubbing parrelel to the frets) with just a tad bit of water and dish soap. The only thing is you have to make sure you thoroughly oil the board afterwards. Makes my boards look like new.
Southpa
I prefer a quick shot of windex to break dirt up fast. Then some fast rubbing with paper towel or a soft cloth. Edited January 4, 2006 by Southpa
jsnhavoc
Any type of fret board cleaner will break that up. I use a type of lemon oil, and all that stuff wipes right off.
tasty
A rag dampened with Naptha works wonders.
