Mickguard Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 Hold on there lil' buddy...you understand that refinishing a guitar means that it'll be out of commission for at least a month? Do you have a second guitar to play in the meantime? You can buy new pickups, as long as they're the same size, it's a matter of screws and solder, difficult to screw up. That's a five minute job. Same goes with replacing the pickguard, although it might be more difficult to find one that fits exactly. I think usually when a neck/headstock have been painted, it's because they're trying to hide something...just my suspicious mind. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
