whitey
i think that would look better as a bass...but then i start thinking that it will look better headless as theres a bridge/tuner recces cut out...but then i think that thats not very metal... lol what do you do with most of these guitars you make? sell them? !!METAL MATT!!
Hey matt, awesome design you got going on there, its been awhile since I've really posted anything but I've kept an eye on your work. Lets see some pics of this thing, nice clean but aggressive design. Keep em coming...oh yeah and hows the female friend coming along? Thanks man! I'll be geting some real work done next week for sure, and me and my Girl are doing great if fact im going to be finishing this guitar and another and than Im moveing to Cold lake so we can be toghter and not have to do this long distance thing any more i think that would look better as a bass...but then i start thinking that it will look better headless as theres a bridge/tuner recces cut out...but then i think that thats not very metal... lol what do you do with most of these guitars you make? sell them? I want do do this design as A bass as well but its been years since I played the bass so thats an idea for the back burner, and I tend to keep or give away most of the guitars I do and Ive been selling some now but not tons NOT YET anyway I'm diggin' it, Matt. You might have to change the name, tho. Schecter CRUD!! I thought that was just the name of that series guitar !!METAL MATT!!
!!METAL MATT!!
CRAP!! ok now Im thinking maybe a flame maple top would look good on this design but im not sure OK SOMEONE TALK ME IN TO IT FLAT BLACK OR FLAME MAPLE TOP DONE IN BLACK OR RED ya see one really cool thing I could do if i do a maple top on it is I could add a nice strip of flame maple down the center of the alder back since its a bit to small for the design to fit with out adding another strip of alder in and I dont like that idea !!METAL MATT!! guitarchump
I would vote a nice quilt dyed dark blood red or deep blue with black back and sides, and have the black fade into the fiqure. That would be killer in my mind. You could also do the same thing but with flamed maple.
whitey
''headless bass, headless bass!'' lol i just have to say ur skills are immense and then you go and find a woman who is perfect...and move to a lake? i'm jelouse lol imo a red stained top would look nice or even a burl, have you seen a recent project with a stained, carved top burl,it was stained purple and was really nice the bevels in your drawing might produce the same grain pattern as the purple guitars carve? if you understand what i mean

Kevan
Whoa....settle down, big fella. I didn't get your PM until a minute ago. If you just put the url up, the forum software will automatically turn it into a link for folks to click on. Do that will all the pics, then after you PREVIEW your post, go back and use the IMG tag for the pic you want to show up in the thread. If it continues to jack up like this, check your computer settings. You might need a cache or cookie clear, or something to that effect. Let me know if you still have problems. And let us all know when that bad boy (literally) is completed!
