Can You Use Bins Shellac As The Color Coat If I Want The Guitar White?

If I want to make my next guitar white, can I just spray the BINS white shellac on top, sand and spray nitro on top? Or do I have to use white nitro coats?

If it is the same stuff I just shot a week ago, you are gonna want to sand it smooth, and shoot white over it. It is like a high-solid primer, and is rather coarse, when dry. However, it DID give me a nice white base to shoot my color coat over.
