Would This Compressor Be Good For Spraying?

Hi,

I saw this in store over here in Ireland I was wondering if it would be any good for spraying and airbrushing. I havent done any work with sprays before but I will be starting soon and this looks like a good price. Should I get it?

A 2HP compressor would be more than enough for spraying guitars, I've used one to paint cars. Go ahead and get it looks like a pretty good deal, plus with a compressor that size it comes in handy for other uses.

Thanks MoCaster. As I said I know nothing about them so it's good to have a place to get advice. Yeah I have a few ideas for it. Ill need it for painting guitars obviously but it will come in handy for the cars and bykes to inflate the tyres in a hurry. Im sure Ill get use out of it.

I know it sounds funny, but I'd say I use my compressor the most for dusting. It's great if you want to quickly get all of the wood shavings and dust off of your workbench.

Why don't you just use a vacuum? Why spray the wood dust all over the floor and air when you can keep your shop clean? I love my De-Walt shop-vac.

Move it to the floor, naturally. I'm a broom and dustmask man, myself. I find sweeping the shop after a hard day's work to be relaxing.
