I just won an ebay item and i rang the local guitar shop to ask how much they sell

it for and they quoted $250, but im not sure if he knew what he was talking about.

They sell on ebay for around 100$ and im not sure if i got ripped off.

the guitar shop near me quoted $250 AU for original floyd rose bridge.

all prices that i say are in AUD (AUS dollar)

Having converted it into UK£ I say you got a bargin, you got it for about a third of the price of a 'no name' floyd so I'd be happy with it!

AUS$205 seems like a bit much for a floyd....but if it was an original and from a music store I wouldn't be to supprised!

its not a no name one, it said it was a lisenced floyd rose tremolo.

The no-name ones ARE "licensed". Original will say, "Original" on them. There's nothing wrong with a licensed product, though-- it's just that they can be in ANY range of quality. Some will be better than an OFR, and some will be noticeably worse.

Sometimes you'll even find Gotoh or Schaller Floyd Roses better than the OFR.

They're certain at the high ends.
