integra
I'm working from John Gleneicki's ebook. After wet sanding the clear coat he recommends using 3M Perfect-it II Finishing Compound and Perfect-it II Rubbing Compound. I can't find either of these products in the UK, could you suggest some good alternatives? Thanks
al heeley
A decent quality car polish will do the same thing. Very mild abrasive (carbonate or talc filler in the polish) and a little mild solvent to open up the coating. My own secret recipe is brasso, really does a great job. Batfink
Mince into your local paint factors and ask for a bottle of G3 - it's what the pro's use. Jem
Moomintroll
I used Farecla G3 (or possibly G10, can't remember off the top of my head) rubbing compound () which I got from: http://www.motortraders.co.uk/ although there are other suppliers in the UK , if you hunt around. Hope this helps.
