PunkE
Hey!....I'm the guy building a aluminium hollowbody... When my order from allparts fell, because they only ship once a month to sweden. I went looking for a guitar. I found a squier!!!!7 string, which is sufficient for the project I'm doing. Surprisingly it's not to shabby. Anyway... Since I'm going to do a copy of the body, I'm going to disassemble the guitar. Here's the Q? Will the neck warp if I remove it?? Wouldn't it warp when laying around???
Brian
While it may relax into a different position it should come back when you apply the tension of being mounted with string pull back on a body. Your still probably going to have to let it settle in before you make final adjustments, but unless you store it in a high humid area it should be just fine I would think. Jehle
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought, "It can't be this easy?!" That's all there is too it. Just be really carefull backing out the screws. One slip of the screwdriver, or over torqueing (sp!) them can chew up the slot in the head. I like pretty screws, but I always manage to mangle them if I'm not careful.
