verhoevenc
Hey, I was wondering about some Western Red Cedar. Would it hold up strength wise if used in a Myka Dragon Fly, or Scott French style hollow body. IE: a full hollow body, but not in the jazz guitar sense, in the, I take a guitar body blank and hollow it with a router (no bend sides, just lots of end grain). Hoser Rob
You mean like 1/8" thick top material? I don't know ... it does ding pretty easily. No big belt buckles.
verhoevenc
I mean like take 1 1.5" body black and hollow it out so it's got a 1/4" thick back with 5/8" thick sides. And then place something on top. Like maple, or walnut, whatever as a cap. Chris
