ibanez_crazy
I remember seeing a tutorial on the rory strat (pics and all) but I am not sure where. Try searching relic or relicing
Southpa
Hey guys! I am doing a custom relic job on a strat. It has a nitro finish and is 60's style sunburst. The dude wants it to look as beat up as the SRV or Rory Gallagher custom shop. So my question is, on both guitars there are large areas of discoloration on bare wood, does anyone know how I can recreate this? Or if you have any other information on relicing it would be much appreciated. A little grammar goes a long way. Your post had no sentence structure or punctuation. Here are a couple previous posts to read on relicing. There are others as well. http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...57&hl=Gallagher http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...35&hl=Gallagher Edited May 16, 2006 by Southpa
