Mickguard
Anyone know this seller? California Paradise on Ebay I'm interested because most of his fretboards seem to be 24 frets and that's what I need right now. Looks like I'd have to radius the boards myself, but that's what the radius block I bought if for, I guess.
Bluetic
I know they have been on ebay for a while. That's all that I can tell you though. I have never bought anything from them.
Mickguard
Well I went ahead and ordered a couple anyway. They're really great about communication--all of my emails to them were answered within a day. And it looks like the boards you see in the ad are the ones you'll actually receive. Their prices are right too, shipping is reasonable, so we'll see how it works out.
Mickguard
Just to followup : I received the two fretboards I ordered, one padauk, the other a rosewood-- both are the same boards as in the photos, but the photos don't do them justice, they're both really beautiful. Both have zero frets (that is, they leave the wood behind the fret). Both are 24 frets too. Oh yeah, and both boards are cut straight across the top --on one of the ebony boards I have from LMI, the top of the board isn't straight --not a big deal, but I consider that kind of sloppy, considering the price I paid.
