steve00
I've been playing guitar for a while, but I know virtually nothing about the technical aspects of electric guitars. I'm going to be changing the pickups on my Strat for the first time, which I think will be a good start, but this is something I'm really interested in learning a lot about and would like to get a good book about guitar work. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks, -Steve
mdw3332
Check out Dan Erlewine's books. For repair and set-up, they are great. Stew Mac

Mattia
A good general guide is Erlewine's 'Guitar Player Repair Guide', touches a lot of bases quite well. Frets.com is also invaluable, and Erlewine's other books are great (at least, the fretwork book is awesome, and I've heard good stuff about the others as well). frazzled
Not that this even needs to be said but if/when you get the building bug, Melvyn Hiscocks book is one of the bibles!
