Pr3Va1L
I'd like to know how much you'd want for only the ctrl-x preamp?? Because I alredy have a piezo bridge, but finding/building a preamp is kinda hard lol
thegarehanman
Sorry man, I really don't want to sell the preamp as it needs the new switch. I feel better just giving it away to whoever buys the bridge itself.
thegarehanman
Ok, well if no one wants any of this, I'm putting most of it up on the bay. peace, russ

thegarehanman
I doubt I'd be selling it if it were chrome . I'm done with my gold phase, but there will be at least one more with some gold...that's where the rest of the hardware from the crucible is going. I decided it wasn't very comfortable...looks better as a wall ornament .

Daniel Sorbera
I would take the humbucker rings but none of my current projects would look good with maple rings.
thegarehanman
There's hope for you yet, son! Don't think for a second that I scrapped it because of the launch pad . It was the lower bout width and overall thickness that didn't sit well with me. Funny thing is, an actual hollowbody would be much larger. Guess I'm an electric man at heart. EDIT: The black pickup rings are now spoken for, and I'm officially in the red for this spring cleaning .

GregP
I'll take my comission in the form of onion rings. I figure... about 10 deep-fried thick onion rings should do it. Dunno if USPS will ship'em, though. Greg
thegarehanman
haha, nice guy you sent my way. That saved me the hastle of having to ship it too. Thanks. Fly down to baton rouge,LA and I'll buy you all the onion rings you want.
GregP
Noice! He had positive things to say about your work. --> Thanks for the tip Greg, I bought the controller. Turns out that Russ lives about 5 miles from me. Very nice guy and quite an impressive guitar builder. He showed me a one of the guitars that he built. All I could say was WOW. It was unbelievable. He is very talented.

thegarehanman
You can trademark the name, I'll trademark the unsightly bump. "launch pad" never really did it for me anyhow. How about the "control tower," ? EDIT: I've already got a slogan: "set your musical career into flight with X guitar, featuring the patented LaunchPad." lol

thegarehanman
Hey guys, I doubt anyone's interested considering the few replies I got for what I posted way back, but I've put some of this stuff on ebay. There are links to the auctions in the first post of this thread. peace, russ
