cole
What is the best way to replace the fingerboard on a strat neck. I have a 60's neck without a fingerboard and I need to conserve the original maple as much as possible.

Mattia
Right. Picture? Didn't the 60's strats have veneer boards? What's the surface look like right now?

erikbojerik
If the neck blank has a radius on it, you'll need to put the same radius on the bottom of the fretboard. Are you planning to slot and fret the board yourself? Or buy a pre-made board?
cole
It's not a veneer its a slab and I'm buying a blank fingerboard and putting it on. and than I'll put the fret slots in
