matthew bryan
Hello all, I was wondering if you can move the string contact point backwards and forwards on the ABM single string bridges to intonate? The pictures I can find does not show a way to move it for intonation (that I can see). I can see where you can move the string hight though. If it does not have this capability then I guess you would have to mount them with precompensated distances for correct intonation. Thanks for any info Matthew
Mattia
Don't have any, but they certainly look intonatable to me. I think the entire unit slides along a piece screwed into the body.
Phil Mailloux
A screw in the saddle tightens the saddle against the walls of the bridge. All you need to do is unscrew it, move the saddle in the position you want it then tighten the screw again. Just like on Hipshot A style bridges if you've seen any. Phil Mailloux
Better yet, here is a picture of my ABM bridge with the saddle and screw part in question
matthew bryan
Thanks for the info....looks like the screw fits in the side of the saddle and wedges it in place. I think I am going to try the single string bridges on my next build. thanks again.
