could someone please send me or post a scale pic of a telecaster headstock. i have some cad drawings, but can't seem to print them scale. i need it to make a template, as i plan to just sand down a garage sale guitar's headstock to make it look a little bit cooler. i need a scale drawing or pic so i can just take the tuners off, lay it on, trace, and start sanding.

thanks everyone, this is a really great site and a good community of people from what i've read. rock on.

It might actually be easier just to draw on the headstock until you've got the shape you want, then sand/carve down to that line. That way you can do your own riff on the tele thing. That's what I did, anyway.

Me three, and I added an extra curve into it which I really like better than the original design, but the curve is taken out of the original shape, so it's a real tele headstock with a little extra taken out of it. :D

let's see if i've got this right..the curve that you put into it is better than the one that you took out but it's original before the hypotenuse of the carberator ballbearings were broke.. :D

if the tele headstock is my favorite, why wouldn't i do it that way. f the market, i do what I like...and tele headstocks are what I like.

Hey, to me it's still one of the best headstock designs ever, so if it works for you, go for it. We're just giving you some ideas of the possibilities, that's all.

No no no....the curve that I put into it exceeds the curve that I took out of it by it's own greatest logarithmic bi-colloidial inverse binary collision defraction.

Simple, really. :D
