harpster Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 could someone please send me or post a scale pic of a telecaster headstock. i have some cad drawings, but can't seem to print them scale. i need it to make a template, as i plan to just sand down a garage sale guitar's headstock to make it look a little bit cooler. i need a scale drawing or pic so i can just take the tuners off, lay it on, trace, and start sanding. thanks everyone, this is a really great site and a good community of people from what i've read. rock on. harpster Quote

That way you can do your own riff on the tele thing. That's what I did, anyway. Quote
Drak Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Me three, and I added an extra curve into it which I really like better than the original design, but the curve is taken out of the original shape, so it's a real tele headstock with a little extra taken out of it. Quote

al heeley Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 If you print this out it should be exactly to scale Quote

harpster Posted July 18, 2006 Author Report Posted July 18, 2006 if the tele headstock is my favorite, why wouldn't i do it that way. f the market, i do what I like...and tele headstocks are what I like. Quote

Hey, to me it's still one of the best headstock designs ever, so if it works for you, go for it. We're just giving you some ideas of the possibilities, that's all. Quote

No no no....the curve that I put into it exceeds the curve that I took out of it by it's own greatest logarithmic bi-colloidial inverse binary collision defraction. Simple, really. Quote
