My custom

Recommended Posts

The most work I do here in my shop is fix neck cracks, do fret polishes, set intonation and adjust action. Simple stuff. I have never done a fret dress or anything of the like so I hire other people to do it!! lol I wanted a killer flame guitar so I had Christopher Woods (www.christopherwoods.com) build me one. The finished product will look like this (except mine has a maple fretboard and the headstock will be the same color scheme as the body, AND I have a red Evo and red volume knob coming in for it as well).

Not sure how it will sound. More than likely with the Evo pickup in it, it will sound like a bit like a BFP with an Evo I guess. Yeah I figured since he was making a new fretboard for me that instead of plain black dots I would hvae him put red and orange alternating dots down the fretboard. At some point I will have a flame inlay done on the neck. He said it should be all ready to wetsand this weekend! I cant wait to get this bad boy!!

Chris Woods (the luthier building it for me) use to work for Tobias bass company and build and help design their bass guitars. If anyone wants a custom bass guitar check him out!! Why pay $3000 and up for a signature 6 when you could get the EXACT same thing from him for less?!?!?
