I consider myself to be rather green about the whole ebay thing, since I've never bought or sold there, or even read up on all the "rules". But I think if there's a "reserve", that means there is an unkown minimum amount the seller must get. It says the reserve has not been met, so you can't get it for just 3. Or do I have it wrong ?

I just looked at the link again and the " buy it now" price is 21, so I think it's safe to say that 21 is the reserve amount.

I don't have the English pound symbol on my keyboard, so that's why I left it out.

Howdy Soapbar,

You are right on one point, and that is that you will not be able to buy the fretboard at the opening price. (Sorry but my keyboard does not have the appropriate sign.) But the BIN price is not always the reserve, just usually.

His 'buy it now' price is £2.50 more than buying a 24.75 slotted and radiused ebony board from Craft supplies. So all in all, no it isn't worth it :D

Order a free catalgue on the website, then you'll have an idea of what things are readily available, and what they cost.
