Mark_McQ Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 Hi, anyone know where I can get a custom scratchplate made in the UK. I bought an Ibanez RG350 last week, and plan on changing the H/S/H layout to just 2 humbuckers, doing away with the 5 way switch, and sticking in a mini 3-way toggle on/on/on. I want to basically get a copy of the the current scratchplate but minus the single coil hole, and drilled for the mini-toggle, instead of the 5 way strat-style selector. Cheers Mark Quote
Batfink Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 WD's (google WD products) carry scratch plate material and i think they'll do custom one's as well - can't check as at work and most things are blocked. If they don't do custom one's it's not so hard to do it yourself especially if you've got the original as a template. Jem Quote
Maurits Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 You should have a look at the supply section on the main PG page. Quote
wwood Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 (edited) Hi Mark, Try the guys at: http://www.auroraproject.co.uk/ I recently got a JEM pickguard made to replace a damaged one and it was a good quality replacement. If you select the fender strat model and use the dropdown menu you can see the other models available, RG, JEM etc... Alternatively you can choose your own configuration.
