newbie22 Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 hi, i'll be commencing my first build, a neck thru, in the next couple of months and i have a few questions. firstly, im considering using a tunematic bridge with stop piece on a neck thru warlock. i was wondering how i calculate the neck angle as ive heard trig is used. secondly, do i need a neck angle if i just opt for a wilkinson strat style tremelo? thanks in advance joe Quote
Nitefly SA Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 no no neck angle is necessary for the wilkinson, the reason you need a neck angle for the TOM is because of its height, you could always rout a channel for the bridge then you wouldn't need a neck angle. If you end up using a non-sunken TOM use the search function to find how to calculate a neck angle. Quote
newbie22 Posted August 13, 2006 Author Report Posted August 13, 2006 thanks, i think ill keep things simple and go with the strat style trem after all. Quote
