iHeart_LesPauls
Hey, im on a quest to know any and everything about the insides of a guitar. This will sound like a very stupid question, but i'm just curious. Can anyone explain exactly HOW a 5 way switch works? Pics and diagrams would really help. verhoevenc
Depends on the switch.... But say you're talking about a superswitch. That's a 4 pole, 5 way switch. It's got one lug on the switch for each pole. As you move the selector, it changes where the lugs touch on each pole. When they touch, it connects those electricity paths. Voila, quite simple.
