thelovacluka
I have a Yamaha RGX421DM. I did full scallop on its maple neck. I really like the natural finish on my other guitar (Jackson PC3). Because the sound is more open and it looks...hmm..natural.. . So...I would like to take off paint from my Yamaha(black). I think the body is alder. What should I use after taking off the paint? I want to achieve the most natural look but to keep it protected as much as possible. I am new to this so every information will be usefull. Also I would like to know if I could finish the neck also because it got used on the "inner" side(not where the frets are). So I would like to protect that also. When I scalloped it, i put some laqueur on it put it doesn`t matter because I do not touch the wood between the frets. Thank you very much. Sorry for my English..
