Don't think I'm taking the p*ss, I used some nice wood for my first project and half ballsed it up. Wish I'd have done it a couple of times with cheaper wood so that I didn't waste my nice stuff. Although I've shelved all my building efforts for the forseeable future (at least until next June), I'm intending on building some cheap bodies and necks before building the guitar I've always wanted to build.
