prs man
the last thing I read was vanhallen used red spray paint. now what I would do to avoid getting into trouble in this project. have the guy your building this for pick out the red paint himself. good luck with this one there are so many different red paints out there. Ben
I know I've seen the exact colour of paint mentioned on this forum before somewhere in one of these sections: http://www.eddievanhalen.com/evh/index.php...ce6c0aff94989d0 http://www.eddievanhalen.com/evh/index.php...ce6c0aff94989d0 http://www.eddievanhalen.com/evh/index.php...ce6c0aff94989d0 http://www.eddievanhalen.com/evh/index.php...wforum&f=78 But I cant find it Anyway, I'm sure that will be a useful forum if your building a 5150

ibanez_crazy
Indeed it was schwinn bicycle paint, but as far as an exact color.....
nolan
Indeed it was schwinn bicycle paint, but as far as an exact color..... Use "Banner Red" if you are using spray paint other than Duplcolor Acrylic Enamel. If you get Duplicolor at any autoparts store, then use "Flash Red". gibsonsg26
the shcwinn bicycle paint was off the franken strat if your going for the 5150 mayby try contacting kramer. It should be the same as there red barrettas and such. If you tell them your making a 5150 they probably wont tell you though so say your touching up your barreta or something. Good luck.
