voodoo_child
Hi, Im about to embark on a custom guitar finish and was looking for advice. Basically i will need to paint a Jem style body with a green/yellow burst. The body will be purchased from a luthier and will have no primer. If possible, all work will be done using spray cans. Could somebody provide me with a brief step by step list of what needs to be done (i will research the steps myself, i just need a list of steps ie do i paint it yellow first and apply the green after etc..) Thanks
Nitefly SA
Yes, yellow first, then green. There are a few good painting tutorials in the tutorial section, along with the "poor man's burst" which I think will come in very useful in this project, good luck. johnsilver
If possible, all work will be done using spray cans. Try this, and have fun. Reranch
Drak
Better practice on scrap first, I find that there are a LOT of variants of green, you want to be sure it is the shade of green you really want before applying can to guitar.
