NJD Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 During the positioning of the top block on a Hotrod Trussrod, will sitting it under the middle of fret one (see pic) work? Or does it specifically have to be under the nut? prs man Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 I have used the truss rod and put the top block under the nut. In my case I used a gibson stlye hot rod and I needed to get to the nut with a truss rod nut wrench. if your using the kind that takes a allen wrench you should be cool.
