Converting Bolt On To Neck Trough

Im thinking og gluing a neck to my guitar and kind of make it a "neck trough"..

Any reasons why i should not?

You lose all the advantages of having a bolt-on neck, and gain nothing (well unless you want to fill the screw holes for a smooth finish). I don't understand the motivation behind making this change to a playable instrument :D . Maybe you could shed some light.

well.. i really like the heels on necktroughs, they are comfortable and looks good. I wanted to make a heel like that. No other reason really..

I like the N-T heels also. The Trick is you are really not changing the joint (screwed or glued :D ). If the idea is to smooth out the heal a bit (depending on what you have now). You could make the same mods with shorter screws. You of course still need to be sure not to take away too much(same with bolt or set).
