SwedishLuthier Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 No experience with Inventor 10 but as with all softwares the answer is RTFM! You will probably need to group the drawing to one solid object and then scale it. Then you can explode the group into different object again. Search for grouping and scaling in the online help Quote
ohhmygod Posted October 10, 2006 Author Report Posted October 10, 2006 LOL english is not my first language so i tried "resize" and "scale" and got no result. I will find out how to do it like what u said though. Thanks. Quote
Digideus Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 measure a point on the guitar you know the size of (such as the neck pocket or the nut size) and scale the guitar to that measurement. Its a bit hit or miss, but it will get the guitar to the correct size and then you can plot the bridge location correctly Quote
ohhmygod Posted October 10, 2006 Author Report Posted October 10, 2006 LOL i dont know how to resize thats why im asking. Quote
ohhmygod Posted October 12, 2006 Author Report Posted October 12, 2006 Any professional CAD designer :( I really need it, please help Quote
Prostheta Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I'm a CAD technician for an environmental consultancy :-D It's a common sense solution. Your trace object(s) need to be scaled by a factor of just over 1.7 - if you can numerically scale then do this. Otherwise, you need to import your tracing image and scale it properly, measuring the length of the scale before doing any trace. Quote
