jammy
Do the acoustic course man! They're ace instruments to make, and once you can do an acoustic an electric's pretty easy
Mattia
Look for woodworking clubs or similar. And apartments aren't no reason not to buy power tools. If they were, I never would've gotten around to building 80% of all the guitars I've built...
ToneMonkey
Have a look at hyunsu (sp) threads. I seem to remember he used very few power tools and he was building some absolutely fantastic guitars (and then cutting them in half I remeber right ). I think he carved the necks witha knife. Try one of the woodworking forums, there may be someone in your area willing to help you out. http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php http://www.woodworking.org/InfoExchange/ Look in general woodworking stuff, don't limit your search to just guitar. good luck mouse jockey
