TimS
I'll be making a new neck for my strat soon. Will I run into any problems replacing the current 21 fret neck with a 24 fret neck, as long as I keep the same scale length?
verhoevenc
IE: essentially the SAME neck, just with a fingerboard extension? Then no, as long as you keep the scale length the same there will be NO issue. However, your fingerboard extension may hit the neck pickup? I'm not a huge strat guy so I don't know how close it is.... but then again, something like that can be fixed too anyways. Chris
TimS
The scale will stay the same. I may do 22 fret; I'll have to see what's around. Thanks for the info.
