mickc
Hi Guys How do you usually run the ground wire to a tune-o-matic bridge? None of my bridge ot tailpiece posts are directly above the electronics cavity, so i can do it that way....
Southpa
You can drill a hole from your control cavity to either the nearest bridge stud or tailpiece stud. Push the wire in until you see it in the stud hole and then insert the stud. Double check with a multimeter by attaching one pole to the bridge, strings or whatever and the other to the end of your ground wire. Drak
I do it just like Southpa described above, but I bring my wire up thru the hole I drilled between the control cavity and the stud hole, and using some copper shielding (it's conductive) tape, I tape the wire to the stud with one wrap of tape, then insert the stud. It's there forever.
