RG_Shredder Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Hi I am looking to refinish my ibanez RG 220b. I have striped it to the body and am going to sand down the old finish. I am going to do a solid color but need some advice on what paint to use, what primers, laquers, and any other tips to get a factory made finish. I am looking for that glossy, smooth, mirror look finish. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial or give me any tips that will show me how to get a professial style paint job? Quote

Heres one tip, don't sand to bear wood, make sure you leave the sealer on, it will make life easier! Quote
