Buckethead
So I was bored one yesterday, so i look behind my amp (a full tube Eleca EG-50T) and see there is a switch for eitha 230V or 115V power, New Zealand (where I live) uses the 230V. I think hmmm what would happen if I were to flip that switch? So I do, and now my amp wont turn on!!! help!!!

thegarehanman
Well as amps traditionally go, there should be a small cover on the back of the amp somewhere that says something to the effect of a fuse being located behind it. Do you know what a fuse is? Once again, I'd just like to say :" " Edited November 20, 2006 by thegarehanman

Drak
For starters, put the switch back where it was. Then proceed to your nearest electronics store and purchase a new fuse. <Take the old one with you. > Insert new fuse in socket. And don't touch that switch again.
