biliousfrog
found this on ebay: MSR quicksteel I was just looking for epoxy but found that stuff (well, the aluminium one actually) & at first thought that it would be useful for my steel fronted guitar but it could also be useful for shielding & much more. I found a data sheet for faststeel, which I think is the same product, & it can welded, soldered, painted, tapped...pretty much anything that steel can. Southpa
I don't see why not. I've used something called JB Weld for aluminum repairs but never considered it for any type of electrical guitar shielding. You might want to double check its conductance powers with an ohm-meter and compare with other shielding materials.
biliousfrog
I thought that it might also be good for moulding custom parts...control knobs, ferrules, neck plates...nuts?
