stevehollx
My Charvel has a recessed Schaeller Floyd Rose on it. The string locks are starting to jam up on it, making it a bitch to restring. I figure instead of buying 6 new saddles and spending like $80 for that, I could just buy a new bridge. I'd like to get the floyd pro because it would give my hand a lot more picking room [The fine tuners on the OFR kind of cramp my hand too close to my picking spot.] Can I buy a FR Pro and just drop it in? And while I'm at it...where is a cheap place to buy one of these?
krazyderek
last i checked this http://www.edroman.com/parts/tremfrt.htm was the cheapest place to get one, but i scored in and got one on ebay for 120$ new still in the box When i swaped out my old liscenced paper weight i had to do some additional routing for the fine tuner arms at the back of the bridge, all the boxed sets should come with an instruction manual, including a routing blueprint for that section, if not i can scan it for you.
