thewongster Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 Can someone tell me the best way to slap on a 5/16 inch veneer to the front and back of my guitar? glue? and I dont plan on using a binding, so should I glue it on oversized, then use a router to go flush against? then use a roundover? JasonBird Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 when you say veneer, do you mean multiple plies of backer with the decorative wood on top? or just thin solid wood? with either, wood glue should be suficient, a thin layer spread across the whole surface.
