LeftyLug Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Hi, My guitar has 2 volumes and 1 tone pot (250k) w/ .033 cap. The volume pots, 250k for neck and 500k for bridge only lower the volume when at 0 position. I wired PU's (PAF clones) to 3-way, switch to pots. Thanks ( I'm new at this 'posting', so have some mercy on the FNG) Quote
unklmickey Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 hi LeftyLug, welcome newbie! can you post an image of your wiring diagram? or the link to an image of it? i have never seen anyone connect a 3-way between the pickups and volume controls, in a 2-volume arrangement. i'm interested in how you did that. thanks, unk Quote
LeftyLug Posted January 11, 2007 Author Report Posted January 11, 2007 (edited) Hi unk, I'll try to post the image. Have to sketch it. I wired from PU's to pots, pots to switch to output. (http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/schematics/2h_2v_2t_3w.html) the exception is no tone pot for neck and ran hot from switch to tone pot than to output. I don't know why I did that, maybe cause I'm left-handed. Edited January 11, 2007 by LeftyLug Quote
