www
Has anyone had any luck painting a fretboard? I have a maple on maple neck. The board has cracks and broken pieces that have been repaired, although unsightly, it is structually sound. It is still raw (no radius). I was thinking of an epoxy paint, but I was unsure if I do this, do I set the frets on top of the epoxy? Do I need to use epoxy? I think it might be too thick! But, I need the strength to hold the small broken pieces on that will probably not hold when I fret the neck. It is a 27 fret neck and replacing the fingerboard is not an option financially. mullmuzzler
Is it posible to stain frets that are supposed to be marked with some inlay (to omit inlays and stain frets (fretboard)) and finish it with poly? mullmuzzler | OSSMT
