oneshowmaster
Hey, does anyone have an aanj (rg/ jem) neck cad file that they wouldn't mind sharing. I am making a jem for a highschool art project (attempting a swirl finish). I have the jem body all set through solidworks and ready for my dad's cnc. I just want to make sure the neck is perfect, as it's the easiest to screw up. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
RGGR
There are no neck Autocad files out there. You have to roll your own.
oneshowmaster
Alright, well see how it turns out.
rbjem
I would draw it out a little oversize and then shape it down by hand the last little bit. More specifically, cut the sides of the neck to the correct width and then the contour where the neck meets the body gets finalized with a rasp and sand paper.
